If you’re a diver, then a Scuba do rag is something that will come in handy when you’ re on your next dive. With my crazy curly hair, I make use of these!
You can get lost or separated from everyone and in a pinch, if you need to find your instructor or the expert, without a scuba do rag: you’ll be in trouble. They can also protect you from getting your hair caught in equipment and protect you from the sun and wind. They can also serve as a fashion choice and even make you feel more beautiful. Collecting them can be fun too(and addicting).

If you’re a diver and want a scuba do rag that can help you keep the sun and the wind away, while holding your hair back and still being able to fit comfortably without sliding off, then this Camo Scuba do Rag could be the one you’re looking for.

This one comes in camo colors-light or dark green, blue, and a green and brown mix.
I love the designs in this way better. Well, who doesn’t love camo?
  1. The blue one is my personal favorite color.
  2. I love the material a lot more too-its softer to the touch and more comfortable to wear.
  3. It’s made from polyester spandex and manages moisture exceptionally well. The back also comes with a tie closure, which is another feature on this one that I love.
This one, in particular, helps in keeping sweat away from my face and from running in my hair, so the sun protection on it is fantastic. They’re also thin, which makes them cooler, but not too cool that it would become a problem in colder temperatures.
Here are the pros and cons of this one for you.

Pros:

  • Gorgeous camo design
  • Made from polyester material
  • Extremely comfortable
  • Keeps sweat away
  • Washing doesn’t bother the designs

Cons:

  • They’re one size, so if they don’t fit there’s no fixing that
  • It isn’t too tight
I would have to rate these at four and a half stars; the only reason why they’re not a five is that the camo is a bit dark for underwater visuals.

They’re nice and cool-which is one thing that I need when picking out scuba do rags. They’re also super cool-looking; one has skulls decorating the outside of it while another has flames, which is my favorite.
The last has a black and white clown on it They’re also very thin but that made them more comfortable! For me, they fit well but was still tight enough to keep my crazy hair under control.I’m going to list out the pros and cons, to give you all the details you need about these.

Pros:

  • Comfortable
  • Nice designs
  • Good fit
  • Adjustable
  • Cool

Cons:

  • Flimsy, thin material
  • Sometimes stretches too much
  • Cool, which means they won’t help you stay warm
  • Washing them could fade the designs
My final thoughts on these are that they’re about a four-star rating. I do like them and feel that the pros outweigh the cons on this, at least for me.

These come in a set of five, which was nice and gives a bit of variety to it. Each is solid colors, so the designs are basic. The colors they come with are: black, purple, blue, pink, and gray. They work better style, especially if you’re working out or anything similar. It keeps the sweat away, which I love, but it also doesn’t do well for keeping hair completely out of the way.

I do like the feel of the material because it’s soft but at the same time, it also stretches. This can be a good thing sometimes but these tend to slide along my head or slide off entirely. Now, here are the specific pros and cons.

Pros:

  • Bright colors
  • Keeps sweat away
  • Great for workouts
  • Fabric is soft and stretchy

Cons:

  • Doesn’t fully keep hair out of the way
  • Basic designs
  • Not good for diving
  • It stretches too much and they tend to slide
Because they slid, aren’t good for diving. and had designs that were too basic, I’m going to have to rate these at three stars.

This is made of polyester, which is something I like. It’s soft and stretches in four different ways, which makes it super comfortable to wear. The design is just a gray design, so it’s basic and there is no pattern to it at all, which I didn’t like. It’s a nice fit, so with this, you won’t have to worry about it being too small.  🙂

This one is big enough that it completely covers my curly hair and keeps it under control without a problem. A fun little fact about this one is that it pulled over my ears and didn’t press on my earrings.
Which helped to make it an even more comfortable wear. This one, but, is super expensive and I’m not entirely sure it was worth the price.
What are the pros and cons of it, though?

Pros:

  • Soft material
  • Big enough to cover a lot of hair
  • Comfortable
  • Doesn’t press on earrings
  • Made from polyester
  • Stretches in four different ways

Cons:

  • No design on it
  • Super expensive
I don’t think it was worth the money. Even though it fit my head comfortably, the lack of design and price turned me away from this one. So I would have to give it a three-star.

These come in four basic colors: white, black, gray, and blue. So these were another one that had a bland design without any pattern on it at all. This one works well in keeping away sweat and they dry quickly. They also have adjustable straps. which makes it easy to help them fit comfortably on your head.

I also really loved that they were washable, so the colors don’t fade, and they don’t shrink in the wash either. What I liked about these was that they also fit comfortably and didn’t slide around or fall off. I did find that they were really hard to squeeze all my hair into, which became the biggest issue I had with these.
So, let’s take a look at the specific pros and cons of these.

Pros:

  • Keep away sweat
  • Dry quickly
  • Washable and don’t shrink
  • Comfortable
  • Don’t slide around
  • Adjustable straps

Cons:

  • Bland design and basic colors
  • Hard to tie over hair
Because this was hard to tie on my hair, I’m going to give this one a two-star rating.
As you can see, each of these had good and bad things about each of them, but out of all this Scuba do rags, my personal favorite is the Camo Scuba do Rag.

It was the only one where I felt like the pros far outweighed the cons. It was soft to feel-which is highly important to me because I hate materials that itch. It has a tie closure in the back and fits nicely, even over my thick hair. It kept the sweat away, even though it’s made from thin material.
This made it cooler for me, which is another feature that I love because I hate when they get too hot.
While the green camo designs won’t help divers spot you underwater, the blue one is bright enough to help with that. It will keep sweat away and protect you from the sun, so that way you can be as comfortable as you need to be when diving. They’re also a great choice if you enjoy designs and style choices.
I also love that they’re affordable and not as expensive as some of the other ones on this list.

Reasons to Buy a Scuba Do Rag Why would someone use or need a scuba do rag?

They are useful for many different reasons-protection, safety, fashion, and style are the four main ones. Diving can be a dangerous thing, especially when you’re underwater and have no idea which diver is where.

Style

Scuba do rags have their unique shape and a lot of times, the way they cover a diver’s hair, combined with the material used to make it and the color and designs it comes in, scuba do rags can be a fashionable choice for many divers.
I’ve seen some of the most gorgeous colors and unique designs-anything from spots, zigzags, webs, flowers, stripes, to specific patterns such as animal and fish prints or customized choices as well.

Keep hair out of the way

This is one of the main reasons why I love Scuba do rags. They’re folded, which means they keep your hair out of the way when you’re sailing or diving. Even though they’re tight enough on your scalp to keep those annoying, tiny hairs from seeping through. they’ re also quite comfortable to wear.

This is especially important when you’re underwater because the water can cause your hair to flow in all different directions, which can sometimes lead to it getting caught in your mask and tank valve. A scuba do rag will prevent this from happening. With my thick hair, this is one of the reasons why I love scuba do rags because hair getting in the way for me is a real hazard.

Protection from the sun

When you’re on a boat getting ready to dive, the sun can be brutal on your hair. They’re made with high-performance fabrics that aid in blocking the sun’s rays. No one wants to have their hair damaged, so this is a sure way to protect your hair and keep it healthy, even while you’re out in the sun for hours at a time or diving deep underwater-this is another biggie for me.

Identify divers underwater

Anyone who is a diver knows just how hard it can be to identify one diver from another down deep. Scuba do rags, especially ones that are designed, can easily help any member of your team figure out who’s the divers who wear scuba do rags with unique designs on them or styles specific to that diver’s preference.
For anyone new, it can also help them quickly find the most experienced diver and get help if they need it, especially if they’re lost or having trouble navigating their way.

Protection from the wind

Another thing that can be a bit of a pain when you’re sailing out to dive is the wind. It keeps your hair from being whipped around your face and will help shield you from the wind.

Collective purposes

We all have that one thing we love to collect and in some cases, divers enjoy collecting them. There’s nothing wrong with that-the more, the merrier. It’s kind of like having different shoes to choose from, except scuba do rags have several practical purposes too.

Hidden pockets

Most scuba do rags have hidden pockets where you can place l.D’s, keys, or anything else that’s small that you would like to put away. If you’re like me, I’m constantly needing more pouches to hold things in and at the same time, be able to easily reach them.
Scuba do rags hit two birds with one stone, and it will keep your items safe while you’re diving, so you don’t have to worry.

They’ re not expensive

Some scuba do rags can get a bit price but if you know where to look, you can find some decent ones for a fair price. I’m constantly on the lookout for good deals.
So, if you wanted to take a bit of time to search online, you can find high-quality scuba do rags for fair prices. You can also find some great coupons to use for buying them!
